Originally from South Norwalk, Connecticut, at the young age of 9 an emerging artist began his journey to express his perspective of the world through street art and urban fashion. Now from his home in the Metro Atlanta mountains, Xanious Jahki creates exquisite pop art paintings and apparel merchandise from which he derives many of his prints and designs. Xanious considers himself a lifelong artist. His unique style takes a more casual approach than the rigorous tendencies typical of street art. Serving as the President and sole creative of his company, OGK Lifeco, Inc. / Original Kurrencii keeps Xanious busy; but whenever possible he truly enjoys meeting his customers and collectors of his work.

Xanious’ style of artwork has evolved over the years, by using cartoon illustrations he has developed his own icons of pop culture, King Kurrencii and Queen Kurrencii; two main mascots of the Original Kurrencii house brand. Xanious has always loved sketching and creative ways of expression with his use of materials like fabrics, paints, markers, epoxies, real currency, etc. Xanious did not begin to sell his paintings professionally until the start of his first company and since its beginning in 2010, Original Kurrencii has grown considerably each year. Xanious’ art and other products are now sold through out the United States and foreign countries. Xanious is continually working on new ideas and expanding his creative portfolio of art and apparel.
